Most of it happens informally

The best advice in this field is rarely shared from a stage. It is shared over coffee at a gathering, in a channel where someone asks whether anyone has seen this before, and in the conversation that continues after the seminar ends. The network is built around exactly that: small, informal forums where people dare to share what actually happened.

What is shared in confidence stays in confidence. That is the precondition for the exchange being worth anything. The Chatham House Rule applies, along with finding the right balance between open information, sensitive information and the different TLP levels. Sensitive information is always treated as exactly that.
